Towards Tomorrow

We pragmatic human beings are mapped out to look forward to tomorrow. Despite everything, the clever bit is that we see the benevolent in everything. It could be a patient waiting for a donor or a child waiting for a cure. What is this???? This is waiting for tomorrow and together we can reach this tomorrow.

Tomorrow is not written in a manual! We don’t know what's forthcoming tomorrow! Tomorrow has already made up its mind. We have this moment to do something considerable. This our golden opportunity to build a better tomorrow.

From the first breath that we take in, medical professionals work around the clock for our generation to grow and prosper. So, think big and then if we fall we “Fall Forward.” At least you will see what hit you.

Futuristic thinking does not happen overnight and requires a lot of persistence and elbow grease. Take the example of SpaceX/Tesla. Elon Musk has one objective in mind to make space travel reachable to the common person. He is thinking of tomorrow when a time might come when there is no place or resources to live on Earth. His first 3 space rockets blew up. To this, he said, “Persistence is very important, You should never give up unless you are forced to give up.” Now SpaceX is spearheading the effort in affordable space travel in the future.

There is no Future without technology and technology is not future proof. It is unceasingly evolving. IBM’s supercomputer can diagnose a lot of symptoms and suggest medicines to patients. The watch on your wrist can predict now if you are going to have a heart attack. So tomorrow is catching up with technology or is it the other way?

But as technology changes the devil changes it’s faces too. Cancer. I know several people have lost their loved ones to Cancer.

Losing a close one hurts, yes it hurts.

My mom’s uncle lost his battle to cancer. He had Leukemia and was diagnosed at stage IV. He was a loving man and large in generosity. He was a father, a husband, and a brother. Cancer was tearing him apart, making him weaker every passing day, but he had an enormous capacity and will to live. He dreamt of “Tomorrow” thinking it was waiting for him but Tomorrow promised him nothing and he passed away. “No matter what happens or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow,” Maya Angelou.

But every failed experiment for Cancer is a step closer to success.

I see tomorrow as an hourglass. It measures the passage of time no matter what happens. It is intangible. My mom always says “Time never comes back.” Make the best use of time today for an even better tomorrow. We are young and ready to change the world.

Helping people in need is the most indispensable thing you can do as we walk towards tomorrow. Audrey Hepburn once said “As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.” Leave your mark, help someone, lift someone when they are down, make your life matter

TODAY IS OUR TOMORROW
