Biggest Challenges Immigrants Face in the United States
Were you born here? Your father? Your grandfather? Your Great Grand Father?
Almost everyone is an immigrant in the United States.
Some people came from Europe, some from Russia, India, some from China and many from many other countries.
That is why the United States is called the melting pot. This means America is filled with many different people and cultures. Immigrants face many different problems when they come to the United States. Immigrants come to America to live freely, find a job and practice religion freely. Immigrants face problems like learning English, racism at work, racism at school, and especially employment. There is no end to what immigrants face in the United States.
For immigrants who come to the United States from none English speaking countries, it is not easy to learn the language quickly and this has its own challenges. For example getting a job, filling out forms, or even basic tasks like communicating to people for basic things. America is also not really known for being multilingual(Though Spanish is the second most spoken language). People who can't speak English are not well treated and are often mocked for their accents, nationality, and religion.
One of the most important things for immigrants is employment. Immigrants usually take any job they are offered. It's also hard to get the qualification and local work experience. There is a very rough economy in the United States and Americans blame Latin Americans majorly for this. Latin Americans are also blamed for taking jobs from white middle-class people. Cuban immigrants also come to the United States just to get a decent job.
Could you believe President Barack Obama went through racism during his presidency? Many people are treated horribly at work because of their race. Who would judge someone at work because of the color of their skin? If an adult is doing this at work let alone what children do at school. People who are being racist at work is making fun of what they bring for lunch or what they might wear for their religion.

Racism at school is a whole lot like racism at work. Children are judged on the food they eat, what kinds of clothes they wear, and especially their accent. Kids sometimes say that their food smell bad and the clothes they wear come from someone who is homeless. This may cut in deep in a kids heart then it would to adults.
Above said all the things do not mean that Immigrants are not doing great here. In fact, they are the best brains from their native countries.
A lot of CEOs and top management people of companies are immigrant for example Elon Musk, Tesla/SpaceX, Sergey Brin, Google, Alexis Ohanian, Reddit, Jeff Bezos, Amazon, and Steve Jobs, Apple. So many immigrants have contributed to America's success and economy.
To wrap this up immigrants surely face a whole lot in the United States from learning English, racism at work, racism at school, and especially employment. But immigrants do a whole lot to put their life up together.
