Imagine a World Without Boundaries

Boundaries, this word brings out pictures of border walls, barbed wires, countries on a map and the oppression faced by many because of social stigma about the things they can or cannot do.  Personal boundaries that are set by you an individual help to define you by outlining likes and dislikes. They include physical, mental, psychological and spiritual boundaries, involving beliefs, emotions, intuitions, and self-esteem. These boundaries set by us limit us from reaching a higher goal. Our brain is capable of much more than we use it for. A typical individual uses as little as 10 percent of their mental capabilities. Now what about the boundaries that are set by others for us, should we be abiding by it? Look at what happened in Iran. Cleft lip and Palate Cleft lip or cleft palates is a problem in which there is a deformed facial structure. There is an opening split at the roof of the mouth or the upper lip(CDC). This is the most common birth defect(NIDCR). 1 in 5 children has a cleft palate(KidsHealth) 700 babies are born with cleft lip or cleft palates annually in the USA(WebMD). The USA is the fourth country with this most common birth defect(KidsHealth). The lifetime cost for the child born every year with this disease is $697 million dollars(NIDCR). But how does this happen to the child, what is the effect on the child, and the surgery process? What really happens to the baby when in the mother's stomach? Usually, during the 6th-10th week, the baby begins to develop tissues and bones of the babies upper jaw(KidsHealth). It's when the babies mouth and nose began to come together(KidsHealth). Marijuana There is a long list of things that make people happy, and then there is induced happiness;  i.e. You are not happy but you try to hide your sorrows and pains and feel happy by taking drugs. People go out to take drugs, smoke weed. Maybe they do it for fun or they do it because of peer pressure. Teens are taking this drug and so are adults. They take this drug to give them happiness but that happiness is short-lived. People consume more and more of this drug so they can feel that all of their worries are taken away. But what they pay for this drug is just boosting the Marijuana industry. Humans think it’s okay I just take this drug once in a while so I can feel good about myself. One step closer every time to death because of an overdose. An overdose that could have been prevented.
